Create a Summer Schedule

Now is the time to start working on a summer schedule. I don’t mean a homeschool schedule but an everyday schedule for your kids. Yes you can just fly by the seat of your pants but I have found that by using a schedule, even if just loosely, you can actually have a great summer filled with order and things to do.

One idea is to schedule a weekly swim day, a weekly park day, a weekly museum day, etc. This of course all depends on where you live and the places/activities around you. You of course get the idea. Sit down and write it all out for the month. Make sure you include some item for you and hubby and for just you.

Another idea is a Summer Bucket List. Write down all the things you want to do, places to go, etc for the summer. Ask your kids to help with things they want as well. Then as you do each one, cross it off. At he end of the summer see how much you actually did. The point is to try and do as much as you can without over doing. At the end of the summer you and your family will have fun filled memories.
